The Westbury

If you’ve been traipsing round Brown Thomas, shopping til’ you’ve dropped, then the Westbury is definitely the best place for that post spree cocktail or champagne!

The Sidecar Bar at The Westbury has an amazing cocktail menu, and the décor is sure to whisk you back to the 1920s. While you wait for your chosen tipple, you’ll whet your appetite with a small vintage champagne to really get those taste buds ready.

If you’re not in the mood for a cocktail, then choose a window seat in the Westbury lobby, and enjoy a flute of champagne with some salty snacks, or afternoon tea. One of the best people watching spots in Dublin!

The Shelbourne

If it’s a luxurious meal you’re after, then head to the Shelbourne Hotel. We visited here for my Auntie’s 50th Birthday, and what a treat it was. We had pre-dinner champagne in their No. 27 Bar and then enjoyed a personalised Birthday menu in The Saddle Room restaurant.

The Morgan

Nestled in with the hustle and bustle of Temple Bar, you wouldn’t think calm and classy could exist here! We stayed in the hotel and whilst the rooms are a little basic considering the price, the bar and restaurant are worth the visit. You can usually expect to pay top bucks for a tasting menu, but the Morgan’s is actually pretty reasonable! Put your glad rags on and enjoy a slap up tasting menu which won’t break the bank.

There’s so many luxurious places you can treat yourself to in Dublin. Put your heels on and sip champagne in the stunning hotel bars. If we had to choose a favourite, The Shelbourne is a no brainer. It’ll take a hit to your budget, but it’s SO worth it. If you’re after some more foodie inspo, check out our Dublin food guide from some more budget friendly options.
